Not every goods lift carries pallets. This 2023 project for builder Evans Long delivered a dedicated bin lift at The Wharf precinct in Mooloolaba, Queensland — a two-stop unit that moves waste bins between levels so they never have to be dragged through public areas.
Bin lifts are a specialised variant of the goods lift: sized to the bin, built for wet and frequent use, and engineered to comply with AS 1418.8 like any TLS goods lift. For a busy waterfront hospitality precinct, that means waste handling that’s out of sight and out of the way of patrons.
