Bin Hoists
A bin hoist moves waste and recycling bins between levels of a building safely - no manhandling heavy bins on stairs, no wheeling them through passenger lifts. Total Lifting Solutions designs, manufactures and installs fully galvanised bin hoists, engineered to AS 1418.8 and built at our Hallam, Victoria factory, installed Australia-wide.
Why galvanised? Bin rooms get hosed out and bins leak - a painted finish was never going to last. Every TLS bin hoist is galvanised for washdown durability, with interlocked doors, limit switches and simple button-box controls that cleaning and facilities staff can use without training.
Bin hoists earn their keep wherever waste has to move between levels: shopping centres and retail precincts, hospitality venues, apartment and mixed-use buildings, hospitals and commercial sites. A dedicated hoist in the service corridor does the job quietly, safely and hundreds of times a week.
Recent installation: Burnside Village, Adelaide
For builder Hansen & Yuncken, TLS built and installed a galvanised bin hoist at the Burnside Village shopping centre redevelopment - trial-assembled in Hallam, trucked to Adelaide in modular sections, and installed by the same team that made it.

Do bin hoists meet Australian Standards?
Yes - engineered to AS 1418.8, the Australian Standard for goods hoists, with compliance documentation, operations manual and warranty at handover.
